We are proud to announce this year's Travis Partyka Scholarship Recipient. Pat @greendevil_garage is the 2024 recipient.
The scholarship recipient that is chosen each year, is someone the FCF crew feels fully embodies who Travis was as a veteran, friend and brother to us all.
Pat was a no-brainer for us to select him. A leader in the team world, and now transitioning out of the military. We have seen first hand how Pat is an advocate for veteran mental health, as well as his own. Constantly in pursuit of betterment, not just for himself but those around him as well.
We are excited for Pat to join us this winter and share with him in the Front Country way of the uphill.

Our 3rd annual 24 hour push in honor of Travis Partyka is complete. In true Travis fashion we had a clear forecasted window only to be met by snow our entire push. #rltw
I miss you daily brother and long to join you where you are. But until then I'll see you atop high places.

On January 24th, 2021 I, along with anyone who knew him, lost a brother, husband, friend, mentor, son and inspirational soul. In his honor we started a day of remembering him in a way we felt honored him in a positive way. This year we are again planning on skiing for 24 hours to remember him and spend time in high places to feel close to him and his spirit. Please consider participating this year with us. Whether it's calling 2 friends for 4 minutes or doing 24 laps around the block. We are also asking for anyone willing to donate directly to our Partyka Scholarship, which goes directly to funding not only a trip, but also providing all gear necessary to one participant who we feel fully embodies who Travis was to all of us. This year's participant has been selected and will be announced on the 25th of January.
In whatever you choose to do on the 24th, remember "Life is a Partyka"

Front Country family. It's been awhile.
This spring we lost our beloved Brown Bear and it absolutely leveled us. To those who were able to spend time with Bear on the skin track or on the couch, thank you for giving him the best life a dog could ask for. He was truly one of a kind. If you have any photos or videos please feel free to send em in

For those who don't know, we run an event every 24th of January to honor the memory of Travis Partyka. He was more than a man, he truly was one of the greatest men we ever had the honor of knowing. This yr looked a little different than last year. We spent our 24hrs skiing and reminiscing on his life and memories we had with him. Thank you for the support from #bubbs and the @giverjh crew for their support in this massive undertaking. Thanks to @mc_randi13 for being there for our check ins throughout the night and being part of our safety team. Only 11months til our next 24fortmp.. who's coming out next jan?
